On Friday, Feb. 4, senior business administration major Glenys Maldonado, also a Texas A&M International University volleyball outside hitter and defensive specialist, organized the noon event in TAMIU's Breezeway. TAMIU students create ceramics with guest artist By Mireilly GonzalezBridge Staff InternPublished Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 A diverse group of TAMIU students, from young adults to senior citizens, participated in a recent ceramic workshop. A guest artist shared her expertise with the full room of students. The workshop was held Jan. 31 and Feb. 2 at the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. Guest artist Gabriela Martinez, or “Gabo Martini,” worked with a group pursuing various paths, including a bachelor’s majoring or minoring in art, as well as other majors like nursing or biology.
