The University Bookstore located at the Sen. Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center remains open for students during the pandemic.
To better serve students in these times, the Texas A&M International University Bookstore added more options to online orders. Students can order books online and decide to pick them up in person on campus or get their items shipped to their home or residence hall.
The bookstore also offers face masks in a variety of colors and school logos to promote health and school spirit. A novel tool keychain is also being sold at the bookstore to help students open doors contact free.
“We are committed to TAMIU and have done so for 12 years,” Bookstore Manager Socorro Calderon said. “While challenged by the pandemic, students continue to rely on the bookstore for a full range of services beyond books, including clothing, supplies, technology, gifts and graduation accessories.”
Ordering books online is a simple process via the bookstore’s website. Students enter their student identification number and required course books appear for purchase or rent. At the online checkout, students can decide to get items shipped or for pick up.
“It was really easy to order and pick up my books, honestly,” TAMIU student Audrey Herbig said. “All I had to do was tell them my name and they had my bag of books ready to go.”
