Many religions tend to break down into various smaller denominations, especially the Christian religion.
There is one specific religion in particular based on Christian beliefs called the Church of the End of Times (Iglesia del Fin del Tiempo or IFT is the name and acronym in Spanish). This church has a unique prescience throughout most of Latin America
The church seems to have outlandish claims on how to be a better Christian. According to them, left-handed people cannot be Christians due to the Bible stating “the right hand of God” three times.
They also believe and claim that overweight people cannot enter or go to Heaven since the Bible reads “But small is the gate and narrow the road leads to life, and only a few find it” according to the proverb Matthew 7:14.
Aside from taking everything in the Bible too literal, the IFT manages to sell outrageous items at outrageous amounts.
One such example is their fee for heterosexuality certificates at the price of approximately $500.
Other Examples include soaps that are meant to whiten or bleach skin. Their belief is that the darker the skin on the individual, the more sinful the person is.
The church even goes as far as asking people to donate their houses and cars, but only if their items are of recent years or models.
The person behind the entire IFT is known as the Prophet Andres de la Barra. Though not much is known about this person; the only known image of him is a photo that hides his face behind a paper mask.
This all seems to be part of a huge joke, and most people tend to agree. In the reviews of each of the IFT’s Facebook pages, there are plenty of people stating that it is one of the best comedy pages that they have found.
However, there is no other page that states that the Church of the End of Times is a religious parody.
Whether the Church of End of Times is real or not, it is offending many people through its acts and beliefs.
